Lifting Hands International (LHI) is a global humanitarian organisation that helps refugees and displaced people survive and thrive. Our work in hotspots like Greece, Jordan, Uganda, and beyond, is rooted in listening to refugees and then acting to ensure that we deliver the aid and support that’s asked for and needed.

Why LHI UK?
Refugees resettling in the UK face complex challenges—legal barriers, housing insecurity, language barriers, and untreated trauma. These interconnected challenges need a holistic, informed response—one that LHI is uniquely positioned to address.
Our upcoming UK programming will:
Launch the LHI UK Research Hub to produce high impact research and offer field-based research opportunities on migration and displacement.
Partner with schools, universities, and local organisations to promote better outcomes in employment, education, and mental health.
Support refugee service providers through training and programme development.
Combat misinformation with public education and community engagement that fosters integration, empathy, and solidarity.
